Why Visit an Endodontist?
Extensive Dental Training
Endodontists complete an additional two to three years of training after graduating from dental school. Of all dentists, fewer than three percent are endodontists.

A damaged or diseased tooth can be saved with the help of endodontic care. Our endodontists can help you avoid the need for tooth extraction.
Endodontists are trained in advanced, specialized techniques to manage discomfort. Our dentists pride themselves in providing patients with painless treatment.
When Do I Need to See an Endodontist?
Our Philadelphia, PA, dentist practice focuses exclusively on treating the tooth pulp (nerves) and the surrounding tissues of teeth that are diseased, infected, or damaged, in order to prevent tooth loss. Endodontic treatment eliminates painful infection and restores and strengthens the root of the tooth. "This Place Is Fantastic"
This place is fantastic. Everyone was so kind and polite, I got in quickly, and I could have slept through my root canal they did such a good job numbing me and keeping me comfortable. I hope I don’t have any more teeth troubles, but if I do, I’ll come here.View On Google
Today was my 2nd time going to Dr. Hodges. The procedure went very well. He made sure I was comfortable and numb. I’ll recommend him to anyoneView On Google

Do I Need a Root Canal?
If you are experiencing a toothache or tooth pain, it's possible that you will need a root canal. When decay reaches the inner tissue, the infection causes a range of painful symptoms. By removing the pulp of an infected tooth, our Philadelphia, PA, endodontic dental specialists can eliminate the infection. Furthermore, a root canal can provide relief from pain and preserve the exterior tooth structure, eliminating the need for extraction and more costly dental procedures.
Our goal is to ensure that you feel at ease the moment you enter the office. Our staff is friendly and caring and will answer any questions you may have regarding your appointment. We strive to provide our patients with the best quality dental care in a warm, friendly environment. Success and a healthy prognosis are our top priorities.
